Held Zebra Jaya Operation 2023, A Total Of 2,939 Personnel Were Deployed

Polda Metro Jaya held an troop rally in preparation for Operation Zebra Jaya 2023. A total of 2,939 personnel were deployed in the motor vehicle action operation which took place from September 18 to October 1.

"The Zebra operation in 2023 involved 2,939 personnel, consisting of 1,349 personnel from the Task Force, and 1,590 Task Forces, which will be carried out for 14 days, namely from September 18 to October 1, 2023," said Deputy Chief of Metro Jaya Police Brigadier General Suyudi Ario Seto, Monday, September 18.

The thousands of personnel are a combination of the Regional Task Force (Satgasda) and the ranks of the Resort Task Force (Satgasres).

In addition, Suyudi also mentioned that there are three main objectives in the implementation of Operation Zebra 2023, namely to improve community compliance or discipline.

Furthermore, to reduce the number of accidents, as well as to create security, safety, order and smooth traffic (Kamseltibcarlantas).

"For this reason, carry out this operation seriously so that what is the purpose of this operation can be achieved," he said.

"I emphasize, remember the uniforms, attributes, and authorities that you have are to protect, protect, and serve the community, and enforce the law humanely, honestly and fairly," he explained.

Meanwhile, Operation Zebra 2023 will target 15 forms of traffic violations, the following details;

1. Four-wheeled or two-wheeled riders who resist the flow.2. Drivers or drivers under the influence of alcohol.3. Drivers or drivers use HPs while driving.4. Not wearing a SNI.5 helmet. Not using a safety belt.6. Drivers exceed the specified speed limit.7. Drivers ride more than one person.8. Drivers or drivers are underage and do not have SIMs.9. Two-wheeled motorized vehicles, four-wheeled or more that do not meet the requirements of roadworthiness.10. Two-wheeled motorized vehicles, four-wheelers or more that are not equipped with Vehicle Registration Certificates (STNK).11. Violating road markings.12. Two-wheeled or four-wheeled vehicles that are not equipped with standard equipment.13. Motorized vehicles that install rotators are not for use.14. Control of four-wheeled vehicles that wear secret number plates.15. Illegal parking control.
