Abdul Muhari said the weather modification effort was carried out by BNPB together with BRIN, BMKG, the Indonesian National Army (TNI) and other related parties in the Jakarta area. According to him, the air pollution rinse operation was held from Monday (4/9) to Monday (11/9).

"This operation has been carried out from Monday (4/9) to Monday (11/9) with a duration of 82 hours 50 minutes and carrying 70.500 liters of water sprayed to form artificial evalporation in Jakarta's sky," he said.

He explained that in one day, each plane carried out 4 sorting in some areas in Jakarta, including Central Jakarta, East Jakarta and North Jakarta.

"This effort began to share a significant impact where there was a decrease in the value of PM's pollutants by 2.5, so that the sky in the Jakarta area began to appear clean," he said.
