JAKARTA - The wife of the former Head of the Propam Police Division Ferdy Sambo, Putri Candrawathi, has been executed at Pondok Bambu Prison in connection with the premeditated murder case against Yosua alias Brigadier J. However, Putri Candrawati was transferred to the Tangerang Class II A Prison. "Putri Candrawati (transferred) at the Class IIa prison in Tangerang," said Head of the Public Relations Section of the Directorate General of Pas Kemenkumham, Rika Aprianti when confirmed, Tuesday, September 12. The transfer of Putri Candrawathi to Tangerang Class II A Prison took place on August 29, 2023. The reason is because she underwent further coaching. "With further consideration of coaching," said Rika. Putri Candrawati was originally sentenced to 20 years in prison at the first instance of the trial. However, the Supreme Court (MA) circumcised her sentence to 10 years.

Meanwhile, the former Head of the Propam Police Division, Ferdy Sambo, was transferred to Cibinong Prison to serve a life sentence in the murder case of Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat. Apart from Ferdy Sambo, two other convicts, Ricky Rizal Wibowo and Strong Ma'ruf, were also transferred to Cibinong Prison. The Head of Public Relations of the Directorate General of Pas Kemenkumham said the three of them had been transferred since August 29, 2023.
