PJ Governor Bey Machmudin Appreciates Bogor City Transportation Improvement

BOGOR - Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin appreciated the improvement in transportation carried out by the Bogor City Government through the policy of reducing city transportation (angkot) to Biskitaguna breaking down traffic congestion/density.

Bey during his visit to Bogor City Hall, Monday, stated that this rainy city was the first city he visited after serving as Acting Governor of West Java and supported the arrangement of transportation carried out by the local government.

"I visited the city of Bogor for the first time after becoming the Acting Governor of West Java. This working visit was to listen to some input from the city of Bogor as well as to continue the previous policy, which had been well continued and which had not been well improved," said Bey as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, September 11.

Bey said various policies from Bogor City were presented by the mayor and his staff, so far they have been quite successful in fixing transportation.

"Regarding the proposed Banprov of Bogor City, we will see first because all cities/regencies also have a lot of requests. We will see which one is the most priority," he explained.

The working visit of the Governor of West Java to the Bogor City Hall on Monday (11/9) was received by the Mayor of Bogor, Bima Arya, accompanied by Forkompinda, the Head of OPD and the Head of BUMD and various elements.

Bogor Mayor Bima Arya expressed his gratitude because Bogor City was the first city to be chosen as the working visit of the Acting Governor of West Java.

"Pak Bey asked and checked regarding the preparations for the Pilkada, all of which were conveyed by the Chairman of the KPU. Pak Bey entrusted us all to synergize for peaceful elections," he said.

Bima explained various achievements of the Bogor City Government program, including reporting the conversion of buses and the BTS Biskita Trans Pakuan program. He also asked for attention from the Acting Governor to fight for the operation of two more corridors by the end of 2023.
