JAKARTA - A video shows a red-plated car emitting quite thick smoke from the exhaust of its vehicle while crossing Jalan Mampang Prapatan Raya, Tegal Parang, South Jakarta. This is also a concern for other vehicles, because it is said to cause air pollution in Jakarta.

Mampang Police Chief, Police Commissioner David Yunior Kanito admitted that he knew about the information. He said that his party had checked the vehicle that emitted smoke.

"I'm currently checking. I'm coordinating and confirm which agency owns the car," David said when confirmed, Monday, September 11.

David also said that his party had coordinated with the DKI Jakarta Government to identify the vehicle.

"That's right (coordinate with the Satlantas and DKI Jakarta Provincial Government," he said.

Furthermore, David, after being identified, the vehicle that emitted a thick concept on the exhaust. Later, an emission test will be carried out, in order to prevent air pollution.

"If it is certain, the plan of the Mampang Police Chief and the Head of Traffic Police will communicate and coordinate with the agency so that the vehicle is immediately tested for emissions and does not add pollution in Jakarta," he concluded.
