Misunderstanding Thought To Be Taking Women, Belgian Caucasians Beat Pizza Employees Who Are Collecting Less Payments

Badung Police, Bali, arrested two male foreign nationals (WNA) from Belgium with the initials IL (28) and GK (27) who abused two restaurant employees named Putu Sudarma (28) and Gede Ariana (30).

The persecution incident occurred on Wednesday (6/9) at around 04.30 WITA, in front of Pepino Pizza, Batu Bolong Beach Street, Canggu Village, North Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali.

The persecution occurred because of a misunderstanding of thinking that the restaurant staff was teasing women, even though they were collecting money for the lack of pizza orders.

"The motive was because of a misunderstanding (two) of the perpetrators for defending a woman who was allegedly being teased by the victim," said Badung Police Chief AKBP Teguh Priyo Wasono, Friday, September 8.

At that time, a foreign woman bought pizza at Pepino Pizza for Rp. 30 thousand. But this woman only paid Rp. 10 thousand.

Because the payment money was insufficient, the employee billed it. But this female foreigner was not willing to pay and then ended up arguing.

Give me two Belgian Caucasians. Without asking about the problem, this foreigner abused a restaurant employee.

"As a result of the perpetrator's actions, the victim Putu Sudarma suffered injuries and bleeding on the right cheek and the victim Gede Ariana suffered lacerations to the nose," he added.

Based on the report of the incident, North Kuta Police investigators came to the scene and asked witnesses for information. The perpetrator of the persecution was arrested.

"And they were taken to the North Kuta Police Office for further investigation," he said.
