JAMBI - PT Angkasa Pura (AP) II ensures that the flight schedule for Sultan Thaha Jambi Airport continues to run safely even though the area is shrouded in smoke from forest and land fires aka forest and land fires.

Meanwhile, BMKG forecaster Sultan Thaha Jambi Okta Irawan said visibility in Jambi tends to change. In the morning visibility can be below 1,400 meters, then gradually rising to close to 5,000 meters until noon.

Meanwhile, the lowest visibility tends to occur at night until the morning, this is because it is influenced by cold and humid air factors.

"So smoke is mixed with water vapor, so it makes it worse and reduces visibility," he said.

This condition continues until Tuesday and Wednesday morning so that the Jambi City Government has also instructed residents to wear masks when doing activities.
