Supporting Political Parties Ganjar Invite Democrats To Join After Leaving Coalition Anies Baswedan

Chairman of the Hanura Party Oesman Sapta Odang (OSO) said the Democratic Party should immediately join if they want to be in Ganjar Pranowo's ranks during the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

This was conveyed by him after a closed meeting with the general chairman of the Ganjar support party at the PDIP DPP Office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Monday, September 4. Oso said the party created by Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) was welcome to join after leaving the Change Coalition for Unity (KPP).

"I can't assume it's from other parties, yes. But if you want to join, just go ahead, it's okay," Oso told reporters.

This invitation also applies to other parties that are claimed to want to join the ranks of Ganjar. Especially parties that have just communicated by telephone.

"The problem is that it has been called, but just called. If it comes with an attitude like my friends, these party leaders have an attitude like that. So that's what the people judge," said Oso.

"That's possible, all of this is still possible," he added.

Similarly, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyato said consolidation would continue. Moreover, the political dynamics ahead of the 2024 presidential election are still very fluid.

"There are still those who are still building the cooperation, the term is the president, there are still those who are ignorant. So that consolidation is continuously carried out to win Mr. Ganjar Pranowo and cooperation in the legislative elections is no less important," said Hasto.

Previously, the Democratic Party stated that it had been sincere and accepted no longer joining the Coalition for Change and joining Anies Baswedan. This decision was taken after Anies suddenly declared the General Chairperson of PKB Muhaimin Iskandar as his deputy candidate.

"In an effort to fight for and improve, the Democrats will make an effort to join other coalitions that have a national vision and political ethics," AHY said at a press conference at the DPP office of the Democratic Party, Jalan Proklamasi, Central Jakarta, Monday.

He invited all Democratic Party cadres to prepare for a new journey in the face of the 2024 General Election (Pemilu).

"Let's welcome a new journey with a clean heart, with good intentions and good intentions," he said.
