PEKANBARU - A teacher from Labuh Baru Village, Payung Sekaki District, Pekanbaru City, Riau was persecuted and hacked by an unknown group of people and suspected of being a motorcycle gang, Sunday, September 3.

The incident occurred on SM Amin Street near the Tugu Songket roundabout, Payung Sekaki District. As a result of this incident, the victim Julpan Besitang (39 years old) suffered lacerations to the waist and was treated at Ibnu Sina Hospital Pekanbaru.
