MEDAN - AKBP Reinhard Nainggolan was removed from his position as head of the Dairi Resort Police, North Sumatra. The removal was the aftermath of the persecution of two of its members, namely Bripka David Sitompul and Bripka Hendrik until they were hospitalized.

This was conveyed directly by the North Sumatra Police Chief, Inspector General of Police Agung Setya Imam Effendi on Friday, September 1. According to him, currently AKBP Reinhard Nainggolan is still undergoing examination at the North Sumatra Regional Police Propam Bid.

For carrying out his duties and maintaining security and social security and serving the community, Agung Setya appointed Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police (AKBP) Rony Nicolas Sidabutar while the Dairi Police Headquarters replaced AKBP Reinhard Nainggolan, who is currently undergoing investigation at the North Sumatra Regional Police Propam Bid.

Previously, it was reported that two members of the Dairi Resort Police, North Sumatra were allegedly persecuted by the Police Chief, namely Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police (AKBP) Reinhard H Nainggolan, Monday (28/8/2023) morning. As a result of the persecution, the two Dairi Resort Police personnel are now being treated at the Sidikalang Regional General Hospital.

The two Dairi Resort Police personnel who were treated at the Sidikalang Regional General Hospital, namely Bripka David Sitompul and Bripka Hendrik Simatupang. Both are personnel from the Intelligence and Security Unit of the Dairi Police.

Bripka David Sitompul, one of the Dairi Resort Police personnel who was the victim of persecution, told the chronology of the incident. At that time, at around 05.00 WIB, he and other personnel were cleaning the Polres area. Not long after, the Police Chief, AKBP Reinhard H Nainggolan, came and charged Bripka David along with other personnel.

Then AKBP Reinhard H Nainggolan called one of the personnel, namely Aipda Beni Marbun and suddenly AKBP Reinhard H Nainggolan slapped all personnel at the time of cleaning it up for no apparent reason.

"After I was slapped, then I asked why we were slapped by the commander, then the Police Chief, Mr. Reinhard H Nainggolan, did not accept it, he immediately attacked me, hit me directly, and secured me into the Provost room with Propam," said David, Monday (28/8/2023) yesterday.

It didn't stop there, Bripka David Sitompul, who was secured in the Provost room, was again abused by AKBP Reinhard Nainggolan by pulling his head and getting a slap again.

"After I was secured in the Provost room, the Police Chief returned to the room and then grabbed me, my head was hit with a head and then I was slapped with the right cheek twice with the left cheek twice," he said.

Bripka David, who initially had a pinched nerve disease, dropped after receiving persecution from AKBP Reinhard Nainggolan and was immediately rushed to the Sidikalang Regional General Hospital.

"I happened to have a nerve pain so I dropped, so I got medical treatment at this hospital, Sidikalang Hospital," he said.

Until now, two members of the Dairi Resort Police are still undergoing intensive medical treatment at the Sidikalang Regional General Hospital. Meanwhile, after the persecution occurred, despite undergoing medical treatment at the Sidikalang General Hospital, Bripka David Sitompul often felt pain in the head. Bripka David plans to undergo a CT Scan examination at one of the hospitals in Medan City.

Now, AKBP Reinhard Nainggolan has undergone an examination at the North Sumatra Regional Police Propam Bid.
