Surakarta - Surakarta City Government, Central Java, will open hundreds of vacancies for government employees with a work agreement (P3K) this year.

Head of the Surakarta City Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) Dwi Ariotno said there were 879 vacancies that would be opened.

These hundreds of vacancies consist of teachers, technical personnel, and health workers. He said that there were 505 teacher formations needed, 110 technical personnel, and 264 health workers.

"Most of these teacher formations are needed by junior high school subjects," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 28.

He said for the teacher formation, there were around 150 people who had arrived at the 2021 gradepassing stage.

"So the rest of yesterday's test results went to our quota. The rest who have not taken the test we invited to take another test, maybe the remaining 500 test results last year, some we will test later this year," he said.

Initially, the Surakarta City Government proposed 883 quotas, however, which was finally determined by the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (MenPAN-RB) of the Republic of Indonesia as many as 879 people.

Meanwhile, related to the requirements for participating in the first aid selection, namely age and task experience, it is relevant to the proposed formation, which is a minimum of 3 years.

"Earlier, P3K is different from CPNS. If a teacher is one year before the BUP (tim for retirement), the teacher's BUP is a maximum of 60 years, that's still allowed. It's just that the work agreement is only until the age of the BUP. 59 years are still allowed, only up to one year (work period)," he said.
