TNI And KPK POM Investigators Find Disbursement Documents Check To Confiscate CCTV While Searching The Basarnas Office

Investigators from POM TNI and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) found various documents while searching the National SAR Agency (Basarnas) Office. One of their findings is proof of checking disbursement.

"The evidence brought and confiscated by the two investigative teams is evidence of check disbursement transactions, administrative documents for the work of procuring the detection of victims of the ruins, and other important documents regarding the procurement of goods and services at Basarnas in 2023," said Kapuspen TNI Rear Admiral (Laksda) Julius Widjojono to reporters in a written statement, Friday, August 4.

In addition, investigators from POM TNI and KPK brought CCTV footage at Basarnas. All evidence was brought because it was suspected that it was related to the case that ensnared the Head of Basarnas Marshal Henri Alfiandi and Koorsmin Kabasarnas Lt. Col. Afri Budi Cahyanto.

Furthermore, Julius said the search lasted for seven hours from 10.00 WIB to 17.00 WIB. Investigators from the TNI Puspom who were fielded 22 people.

The evidence found was then taken to each investigating office. They then made a report from the process.

"The search, which was carried out jointly by investigators from the TNI and KPK Puspom, shows the synergy between the two institutions in uncovering bribery cases at Basarnas," said Julius.

Previously reported, the KPK uncovered allegations of bribery in the procurement of goods and services at Basarnas through a hand arrest operation (OTT) on Tuesday, July 25. From this active action, the KPK announced five people as suspects.

The five suspects are Kabasarnas Marshal Henri Alfiandi and Koorsmin Kabasarnas Lt. Col. Afri Budi Cahyanto as suspects for receiving bribes. Meanwhile, as the giver is the President Commissioner of PT Multi Grafika Cipta Sejati, Mulsunadi Gunawan (MG), President Director of PT Intertekno Grafika Sejati Marilya and President Director of PT Kindah Abadi Utama Roni Aidil.

However, the investigation of this case had a polemic because the KPK was considered to have exceeded the authority of the TNI. Because Henri and Afri are still active members.

The KPK also apologized and confirmed that it would only investigate three suspects from the private sector. Meanwhile, Henri and Afri were worked on by POM TNI and have now been thrown into custody.

In this case, Henri is said to have received a fee referred to as a command fund of Rp. 88.3 billion from the private sector from 2021-2023. This acceptance was made through Afri as his subordinate.
