Puan Meets Cak Imin And Airlangga, PDIP Hopes PKB And Golkar Can Face 2024 Together

JAKARTA - Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP Said Abdullah is optimistic that the PDIP meeting with PKB and Golkar will produce an important agreement.

The Chairperson of the PDIP DPP Puan Maharani met the General Chairperson (Ketum) of PKB Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin and the chairman of the Golkar Party Airlangga Hartarto in Jakarta today Thursday 27 July.

"Mbak Puan's meeting with Mr. Airlangga and Gus Muhaimin will be optimistic that they can produce important agreements, although we will not be able to convey all of these agreements to the public," Said said in his statement, Thursday, July 27, as reported by Antara.

The agreement will be formulated from good intentions to maintain political stability in order to ensure the continuity of national development and strengthen national leadership in the future.

Said also hopes that Golkar and PKB can continue political cooperation with PDIP after holding a meeting with Puan Maharani.

"To be honest, we hope that Golkar and PKB can continue political cooperation with the PDI-P in the future," he said.

According to him, PDIP has been together with Golkar and PKB for almost 10 years in the government of President Joko Widodo.

He said the relationship was comfortable, very good, and understood each other's positions.

"Even the cooperation between the PDI-P and Golkar, PKB has almost 10 years helped strengthen Mbak Puan's leadership as Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives. Mr. Lodewijk (Secretary General of the Golkar Party Lodewijk F. Paulus) and Gus Muhaimin currently serves as Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives," he said.

Said also assessed that the match between PDIP and Golkar and PKB was easy to build due to the cultural closeness between the bases of important figures from the three parties.

In fact, he added, the relationship between the three political parties transcends political relations for the division of power seats.

"Therefore, it is very natural that Mbak Puan considers the strategic meaning of continuing political cooperation between the PDI-P and Golkar and PKB," he said.

Previously, Said said that the plan to meet the Chairperson of the PDI-P DPP, Puan Maharani, with Golkar Party Chairman Airlangga Hartarto, will be held on Thursday at 15.00 WIB at Airlangga Hartarto's residence, Jalan Tirtayasa Raya, Kebayoran Baru.

"At 15.00 WIB with Airlangga in Tirtayasa," Said said in a statement received in Jakarta, Thursday.

He said Puan would meet Airlangga after holding a meeting with PKB General Chair Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar at 12.00 WIB at Muhaimin's residence, Widya Chandra Complex, Jakarta.
