SURABAYA - Mayor of Surabaya, Eri Cahyadi, emphasized that the economic strength of the City of Heroes, East Java, lies in cooperatives. He stated that cooperatives continue to move for the benefit of the greater people in the city of Surabaya.

Previously, the Acting (Plt) Head of the Surabaya City Small and Medium Enterprises and Trade Cooperatives (Dinokumdag), Dewi Soeriyawati, had conveyed that the commemoration of National Cooperative Day in 2023 with the tagline "Proud to Operate Advanced Indonesia" had been carried out at Surabaya City Hall on Saturday, July 22.

The event included healthy road activities and the MSME bazaar which was attended by 34 cooperatives and 6 PD from the Surabaya City Government. The event also includes the awarding of 14 of the best cooperatives.
