Puan Regarding Budiman Sudjatmiko Meets Prabowo: I Don't Know What There Is An Order, But It's OK To Stay In Touch

Chairman of the PDI-P DPP Puan Maharani admitted that she did not question the meeting between PDI-P politician Budiman Sudjatmiko and Gerindra Party Chair Prabowo Subianto in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta.

"I don't know if there was an order. However, what I can say is that everything is okay to stay in touch," said Puan at I News Tower, Jakarta as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 19.

However, Puan did not know whether the meeting was an order from Budiman's party or personal initiative.

According to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, any inter-political gathering will have a positive impact on the nation and state.

Therefore, Puan did not want to think negatively before knowing what Budiman and Prabowo were discussing.

"So, yes, after the meeting we will hear what is really being discussed," he said.

In addition, Puan welcomed the meeting between President Joko Widodo and the Chairman of the NasDem Party Surya Paloh on Monday (17/7).

"The meeting is legal, especially in politics, all of them must meet to discuss each other, also so that there is no misunderstanding. So, it is better for us to talk," said Puan to the media crew.

According to him, there is nothing wrong with the meeting between the two figures because in politics each party must continue to communicate.

Puan assessed that deliberation is one of the important essences of politics. For this reason, Puan encourages each party to continue to be in a relationship, including between Surya Paloh and Jokowi.
