JAKARTA - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said his party considers Britain an important partner country, always thanks the state of affairs, following comments from the defense minister of London.

British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said Britain and Western allies were not arms delivery services from Amazon to Kyiv, demanding more "thank you".

"In my opinion, we are always very grateful to the UK, always thanking the Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Mr. Wallace," said President Zelensky, citing Ukrayinska Pravda, Thursday, July 13.

"I don't know what he meant, how else do we have to express our gratitude. He can send a message to me to explain it... We can wake up every morning and personally thank the minister," President Zelensky continued.

"The UK is our partner, we are grateful for that, maybe the minister wants something specific," he said.

As previously reported, responding to Defense Minister Wallace's comments, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said President Zelensky was grateful for the support provided so far, saying more aid would be provided as needed.

"President Zelensky has expressed his gratitude for what we have done on several occasions," PM Sunak told a news conference in Vilnius, Lithuania.

"I fully understand Volodymyr's desire to do everything he can to protect his people and stop this war, and we will continue to provide the support he needs."
