JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno said he was still waiting for the news that the Coldplay band concert day in Jakarta would be fulfilled by promoters for two days.

He also asked fans to be patient waiting for the information.

"We are waiting to see if the second day's request can be fulfilled by promoters and management, friends, please be patient," said Sandiaga Uno when met, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, May 22.

Sandiaga acknowledged the high enthusiasm of the fans who bought tickets for the British band concert.

He detailed that the queue for ticket sales for "pre-sale" for sponsor banking customers on the first day alone has netted 1.5 million people and ticket sales, while public ticket sales reached 1.7 million enthusiasts.

Of the total 3.2 million concert enthusiasts, as many as 20 percent of them are foreign tourists.

The high enthusiasm of fans who want to watch Coldplay's concert titled "Music of the Spheres World Tour" also raises concerns about fraud selling fake tickets.

"I also conveyed to all people to be careful not to get caught up with fake tickets and to ensure valid sources," said Sandi.

The Coldplay concert "Music of The Spheres World Tour 2023" in Jakarta will take place at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium on November 15, 2023.

Concert tickets are sold starting from Rp800,000 for the cheapest category to the Ultimate Exprience category of Rp11,000,000. This price does not include a 15 percent tax, 5 percent service fees and other costs.

Coldplay's November 15, 2023, will be the band's first appearance from Great Britain in Jakarta.
