TNI Secures Grenade Found By Residents Of Sambas Border RI-Malaysia

Pamtas Task Force Battalion 645/Gardatama Yudha secured pineapple grenade material which was found by a resident in Aruk/ANTARA/HO-Yonif Hamlet 645 Gardatama Yudha

ENTIKONG - Border Security Task Force (Satgas Pamtas) Infantry Battalion 645/Gardatama Yudha secured a pineapple grenade type explosive which was found by a resident in Aruk Hamlet, Sebunga border Indonesia and Malaysia, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan.

"The pineapple grenade was found by the residents to be no longer active. Even so, we still secure it at the warehouse of the Gabma Sajingan Post," said the Commander of the Indonesian Pamtas and Malaysia Task Force Battalion 645/Gardatama Yudha Lt. Col. Inf. Hudallah at the Entikong Tactical Command Headquarters reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 10.

The Hudallahgranat pineapple defensive was allegedly the former of the Serawak People's Guerrilla Troops (PGRS) rebellion and the People's Forces of North Kalimantan (Paraku) in West Kalimantan in the Aruk area in 1967.

According to him, when it was found by residents, the explosives were no longer active. However, in handling and securing it, the Pamtas Battalion 645 soldiers continued to apply procedures or standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Hudallah said the discovery of the pineapple grenade when a 34-year-old border resident Herma was fishing in a small river on Monday (8/5).

Furthermore, Commander of the Gabma Sajingan Post, Pamtas Task Force Battalion 645/Gradatama Yudha Letda Inf.Rintho Lombuan and two members visited the location where the pineapple grenade was found to ensure and check or check whether the object was still active or inactive.

After confirming the truth of the discovery of the pineapple grenade, the soldier then reported the incident to Danki SSK I Koki Sajingan Integrated Aruk Captain Inf. Ikhwan Hadi Putra.

After that, said Hudallah, the pineapple grenade was ordered by the Commander of the Gabma Biawak Post, namely Serka M. Alex Sudarwan, who is a BP member from the Paldam who has expertise in explosives and firearms.

"So, after handling it during the discovery according to the procedure, we have secured the explosives whose status is no longer active," said Hudallah.
