Bengkulu Prosecutor's Office Collects Remaining Samisake Program Loans Of IDR 5.61 Billion

BENGKULU - The Bengkulu State Civil and Administrative Sector (Kejari) collected around Rp5.61 billion from 14 cooperatives that have not returned the budget for the Bengkulu City Government's One Billion One Kelurahan (Samisake) assistance program in 2013. The total budget for the Samisake program of the Bengkulu City Government with the remaining loans collected is around Rp. 5.61 billion based on data from the Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD). "The Bengkulu Kejari Datun will collect 14 cooperatives that have not paid off Samisake's program funds," said Bengkulu District Attorney Yunitha Arifin in Bengkulu City, Antara, Friday, May 5. "The deadline for returning the budget is given to 14 cooperatives," he said, for the next 3 months. Currently, his party continues to investigate hundreds of recipients of the Samisake aid program from three cooperative institutions managed by four suspects, Baitul Mal Wattamwil Mandiri City, namely Zp, Sanif Mandiri Am Cooperative Chairperson, Skip Mandiri Rh Cooperative, and Skip Mandiri Cooperative Treasurer Jl. Previously, the Bengkulu Kejari named four suspects in connection with the corruption case of One Billion One Kelurahan (Samisake) revolving loan funds in the 2013 fiscal year. "The determination of four administrators in four Bengkulu City cooperatives was carried out on Thursday (22/12) because they used these funds to meet personal needs," he said. Samisake's assistance was used by the suspects for personal needs such as repairing houses and paying debts. In addition, currently the four suspects have not been detained. However, it is possible for the four suspects to be detained because around 3,000 people have not been investigated in connection with the case. Based on the results of an audit from the Indonesian Financial Audit Agency (BPK) in 2019 and the Bengkulu City Samisake program, it was found that the recipients received a bad contribution of Rp. 13 billion.

Meanwhile, based on the results of the independent audit requested by the Bengkulu City Government, it was known that of the Rp13 billion findings, Rp1 billion had been deposited into the UPTD to the Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD) and the remaining Rp12 billion had to be recovered according to BPK RI's advice.
