Anticipate Severe Traffic Jams During Eid, Peak Paths Are Odd Even From Friday To Monday

Bogor Police imposed an odd-even system in the Bogor peak area on the weekend (weekend) from Friday, April 28 to Monday 1 May as an effort to anticipate the re-agency peak vehicle volume density of Bogor Regency. "Based on our monitoring, the flow across this peak area has decreased from the previous days, however, the traffic density in peak areas at the end of the week is predicted to continue to increase and can cause high volume density of vehicles," said Bogor Police Chief Iman Imanuddin Thursday, April 27. To anticipate the volume density of vehicles, the Bogor Police made efforts to engineer traffic flow other than the one-way system. "We will also implement an odd-even system (GaGe) for vehicles entering the peak area starting tomorrow Friday, April 28," continued Iman.

The Bogor Police Chief then appealed that people who want to go on vacation to the top area are expected to adjust their vehicle numbers to even or odd dates. "The implementation will be if there is a vehicle number that does not match the date on that day, we will also appeal and directions to make a U-turn," explained Iman Imanuddin.
