Surakarta City Police thwarted an attempted burglary at a Bank BCA Cash Machine (ATM) on Friday, April 7 in the morning.

According to the Head of the Samapta Unit of the Surakarta Police, Kompol Arfian Riski Dwi Wibowo, the incident occurred at around 01.30 WIB on Jalan S. Parman, Kestalan Village, Banjarsari District, Solo.

Arfian Riski said that the incident began when his members received information from a resident regarding an attempted burglary of a Bank BCA ATM machine.

"The witness who reported to the call center saw a young man trying to break into a BCA Bank ATM machine. The witness then reported it to the call center of the Sparta Satuan Samapta Team," he said in Solo, Central Java, Friday, April 7, which was confiscated by Antara.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Surakarta Police, Kombes Pol. Iwan Saktiadi thanked the residents who had reported the incident to the Surakarta Police so that the attempted burglary of the ATM machine was thwarted by its members.
