Officially Complaints Firli Bahuri, Brigadier General Endar Priantoro Waits For The Follow-up Of The KPK Council

Brigadier General Endar Priantoro officially complained Firli Bahuri and Cahya H Harefa as Chair and Secretary General of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to the Supervisory Board (Dewas) regarding the violation of the code of ethics. So, it's just a matter of waiting for the follow-up process.

"I met with Dewas to submit my complaint report and it has been received by Dewas," said Endar while showing evidence of complaints to reporters, Tuesday, April 4.

With the complaint received, according to him, Dewas will start analyzing the contents of the document along with the evidence submitted.

Then, the leaders of Dewas will discuss it comprehensively and begin to take clarification steps against the parties complained about.

"Of course, what I understand is that they received, analyzed the complaint material, if I'm not mistaken, it will also be discussed at the level of the leadership of the Council and others," he said.

"Only they will continue by making a letter of assignment, if I'm not mistaken. Then there will be a clarification process, evidence and others. Then it is decided by Dewas," continued Endar.

On the previous occasion, this one-star police general also mentioned that in his complaint there were several alleged ethical violations committed by Firli Bahuri and Cahya.

The forms of alleged violations range from synergy to professionalism.

"The code of ethics has several things, we uphold synergy, accountability, professionalism. We will throw a lot at the Council," he said.

For violations of synergy, it is suspected that it is related to ignoring the letter from the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo regarding the extension of the assignment period of Brigadier General Endar at the KPK.

In fact, the KPK has appointed Ronald Worotikan as Acting Director of KPK Investigations.

In today's complaint, Endar also brought some proof of strengthening. For example, a copy of the National Police Chief's letter dated March 29, 2023. It contains an extension of his tenure at the KPK.

Even then, it is said to be the answer from the National Police Chief on the proposal of KPK leader Firli Bahuri.

"I brought a copy of the photocopy (decision letter), the aspect of my honorary dismissal which was signed by the Secretary General. The fourth I brought my face-to-face letter from the KPK to the National Police which was signed by the Chairman of the KPK," said Endar.
