Jokowi Reminds The Work Of The Cinematography Of Independence To Produce Advanced National Films According To The Will Of The Times

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo remembers the beginning of the appearance of national films. According to him, the history of the presence of cinematographic works of the nation's children deserves to be remembered.

This was conveyed by Jokowi to coincide with the celebration of national film day which falls every March 30 or today.

"National films were born during the struggle to defend independence. Their birth was a historic moment," Jokowi wrote on his Twitter account, @jokowi, Thursday, March 30.

Jokowi said that the seeds of the films of the nation's children contained Elan or the burning spirit of life to be free from colonialism.

"In it there is an struggle to work while growing the heroism of the nation's children," said Jokowi.

The burning spirit free from the shackles of colonialism made films made by the nation's children currently creative and able to compete with other countries.

"With that spirit, our national film steps forward according to the will of the times," he said.
