The Persecution Case By Ministry Of Finance Tax Official's Son Goes Viral, South Jakarta Police Admits They Have Secured The Perpetrators

JAKARTA - South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Ade Ary confirmed that his party had arrested the perpetrators suspected of assaulting David in the Pesanggrahan area, South Jakarta, Monday 20 February 2023.

The perpetrator named Mario Dandy Satriyo is the son of an official at the Directorate General of Treasury (DJP) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu).

"Already (arrested)," said Ade in a short message, Wednesday, February 23.

When asked further about the incident, Ade admitted that he could not convey further. So far, the victim has not given any statement.

"It's still being investigated. The victim cannot be questioned yet," he concluded.

Viral on social media which describes a man named David who was the victim of the alleged abuse, resulting in a coma, by perpetrator Mario Dandy Satriyo in the Pesanggrahan area, South Jakarta, Monday 20 February 2023.

The information uploaded by the account @Lenterabangsaa_ wrote that the perpetrator Dandy was allegedly the son of an official from the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP), South Jakarta.

The chronology of this persecution case began with David who was invited to meet by Dandy in a black Jeep Rubicon. When they met, David was invited by the perpetrator and 2 of his friends to an empty alley.

"There the victim was abused by 2 perpetrators who are currently being arrested and detained at the South Jakarta Pesanggrahan Police," wrote the account.

As a result of this assault, David reportedly suffered serious injuries to the right side of his face. Then he was rushed to Medika Hospital and until now he is still receiving intensive care.

"The victim named David and the main perpetrator named Mario Dandy Satriyo used a Rubicon vehicle (original plate B 2571 PBP). The main perpetrator was a graduate of Taruna Nusantara," he said.
