JAKARTA - Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Meutya Hafid stated that the Government has compiled the Five Main Vertical Priorities of the National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy.

The five Priorities of the National AI Strategy include Health Services, Bureaucratic Reform, Talent Education, Smart Cities Mobility, and Food Safety.

According to him, AI for health services will be used to expand access and improve diagnosis, as well as enable early detection of the disease and efficiency in hospital management.

Meutya explained that the implementation of the 4P model in health services is predictive, preventive, participatory, and personal. The model improves the quality of health services and accessibility for the Indonesian people.

While on the priority of Bureaucratic Reform, AI becomes a motor of change. Whereas in education, AI is applied through addictive learning designed according to individual needs.

"In addition, in the 2025 quarter, we will also launch SPBE Digital as an integrated service across ministries. At the Ministry of Trade, especially in carrying out surveillance of negative content, we have also used Artificial Intelligence," he explained, quoted Monday, December 23.

Then, Smart Cities Mobility or smart city development is also a major concern with data integration and AI-based traffic management.

While the fifth priority, namely Food Safety is one of the important directives of President Prabowo Subianto. Meutya explained that food safety by optimizing food life cycles and managing agricultural land through climate and weather predictions, projection of food supply chains and logistics, as well as improving the quality of seeds and harvests to support national nutritional security.
