Erick Thohir Is Said To Be The Answer To Manage Indonesian Football

JAKARTA - Erick Thohir has been elected as General Chair of PSSI. Razikin Juraid, Chairman of the National Leadership Council of the People's Sovereignty Center (MPN PAKAR), hopes that this will lift Indonesian football so that it can rise from adversity.

This hope has the potential to come true, considering that Erick Thohir has a good track record in the world of sports, especially football.

Razikin, who is also Deputy Chair of Muhammadiyah Central Leadership Sports Development, believes that Indonesian football needs strong leadership, from people who understand the complexities of the world of football.

The challenge now is to resolve PSSI's internal crisis, free Indonesian football from the hands of the mafia, organize supporters, train young players, as well as prepare adequate infrastructure with international quality standards. In this case, Erick Thohir is the answer to organizing the world of Indonesian football.

"Of course, this happened, because the public saw the actions of Erick Thohir, who is believed to be capable of managing PSSI internally and building harmonization between PSSI and the government, as well as building good relations with FIFA and with international football circles," said Razikin, in his statement, Thursday 16 February.

"I believe Erick Thohir's leadership will be well received and supported by all groups, both domestically and internationally. In this way, Indonesian football will also be more advanced or in other words, Garuda will fly high across continents," he concluded.
