The results of the field checks, he said, were that the number of damaged houses in the two sub-districts was 511 houses, which would then be proposed to receive assistance for home repairs according to the Regional Budget's capabilities.

Regarding the proposal for assistance ranging from IDR 2.5 million to IDR 5 million per house, he said, the amount is still in the form of a proposal under discussion and has not been determined because currently the calculation is still being assessed by the Garut Housing and Settlements Office.
He revealed that the government is also preparing another form of assistance in the form of providing building materials available at the Housing and Settlements Agency for houses with minor damage.
"So later it can also help procure building materials for those with minor damage", he said.
