A Truck Driver Died On Pemalang Toll Road After Hitting A Car In Front Of Him

PEMALANG – One person was reported dead in an accident between a Colt Diesel Box truck on the KM 319+500 Toll Road Line B, Cibiyuk Village, Ampelgading District, Pemalang Regency, Central Java, Wednesday morning, February 8, at around 01.00 WIB.

According to reports received, the victim was the driver of the Colt Diesel Box truck number B 9865 PCG on behalf of Marthen Yelepele (53) a resident of Slembaran RT03/03, Serengan, Surakarta.

Meanwhile, the other victim was a Colt Diesel truck driver with BA 9300 MR number on behalf of M. Amin (47), a resident of Nagarin Sungai Birin, Bayan Tumbuk District, Fifty City District, West Sumatra.

According to witness testimony, Wilda Amru (30), a resident of Kendalsari Village, Pemalang, at that time the Colt Diesel truck brought by Marthen was traveling from east to west. Arriving at the scene, it is suspected that the driver fell asleep so he could not control the speed of his vehicle and crashed into the truck driven by Amin, which was in front of him.

As a result of the accident, Marthen suffered serious injuries, namely an irregular 15-centimeter torn stomach. Marthen died at the scene and was taken to RSI Al-Ikhlas Taman.

Meanwhile, Marthen's colleague, namely Sunardi (54) survived even though his right leg was broken. Sunardi's condition is aware that he is undergoing treatment at RSI Al-Ikhlas Taman.

Members of the Pemalang Police who received the report immediately processed the crime scene (TKP), secured evidence and made a police report.
