Suspected of Suicide, Man, a Resident of South Jakarta Kemandoran, Died After Being Run Over By A Train In Depok

DEPOK - A man with the initial S (59) was killed by a train at the Jalan Laskar T 15/06 railroad crossing, Bojong Village, Pondok Terong, Cipayung, Depok. Police suspect the man was a suicide victim. Because the train doorman saw the man lying on the rails. Officers had difficulty evacuating the victim's body because his body parts were still caught in the iron wheels of the train.

Pancoran Mas Pancoran, Ipda Wahyu Jatmiko confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Monday, February 6, at 10.00 WIB.

"Suspected of suicide, because someone saw him in his lying position. (so) while suspected of suicide. Because looking at his position, his neck is already sore", said Wahyu when confirmed by VOI, Monday, February 6.

Wahyu explained that the event was seen by Ari (32), a local regional train gatekeeper. Ari admitted that he saw the victim lying on the railroad tracks.

The witness reminded the victim that a train was coming. However, the man whose address is Jalan Kemandoran II, Kebayoran, South Jakarta, did not hear him.

"Not long after, the train came and hit the victim, who was dragged about 15 meters from the point where the victim was lying down", he said.

Now the victim's body has been evacuated to the Police Hospital for further action.
