Police Arrest A Woman Burner Accused of Kidnapping In Sorong

PAPUA - The West Papua Regional Police finally arrested a woman burner due to a kidnapping accusation in Sorong City, Kokoda, Southwest Papua. West Papua Regional Police Public Relations Head, Kombes Adam Erwindi, confirmed the arrest of the perpetrator with the initials FT.

"Based on the results of the interrogation, the perpetrator admitted to beating and burning the victim while crossing the Kokoda complex," said Adam in his statement, Thursday, January 26.

Adam explained, at first FT saw WG as similar to the perpetrators of kidnapping minors who had been going viral. WG was also secured by the perpetrator FT. Then without asking, FT immediately beat her naked and doused her with gasoline.

"The victim was naked then the perpetrators doused the victim using a bottle of gasoline and took a match and set the victim on fire," he said.

Adam explained that there was still one more arsonist that he was still hunting for. His initials AT.

“(AT's) role is to buy a bottle of gasoline at KM 8 truck base, then gave it to the perpetrator. The Sorong City Police Chief will process the perpetrators according to applicable regulations," he concluded.
