Riding A Motor Boat, Jokowi Visits Bunaken To Observe Malalayang Beach

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is scheduled to visit Bunaken Island to inspect Malalayang Beach in Manado during a series of third-day working visits to North Sulawesi (North Sulawesi), Friday 20 January.

According to information received by Antara, the President will cross from Mega Mas Pier, Manado, by boarding the Ultimate Victory Motorboat to Bunaken Island at around 8.20 WITA.

In Bunaken, the President will inspect the Bunaken Tourism Area and several homestay facilities there, before departing to cross back to Manado.

After carrying out Friday Prayers at the Ahmad Yani Grand Mosque, the President is then scheduled to visit the North Sulawesi High Attorney Flats in Manado to sign the inscription marking the inauguration of the infrastructure.

Closing the schedule for the third day of activities in North Sulawesi, the President will inspect the Malalayang Beach facilities. There the President will inaugurate the arrangement of the Malalayang Beach Area and the Bunaken Ecotourism Village.

For information, the PUPR Ministry earlier this month stated that it had completed the arrangement of the Malalayang Beach Area and Ecotourism Village which were carried out in the 2020-2022 timeframe.

The arrangement of the Malalayang Beach Area spent a budget of IDR 65.48 billion for the development on an area of ​​18,500 square meters.

Meanwhile, the arrangement on Bunaken Island was carried out with a contract value of IDR 28.78 billion for construction on an area of ​​19,000 square meters.

The work on the arrangement of the two areas is a form of support for the development of the Manado-Bitung-Likupang Super Priority Destinations in North Sulawesi.

Meanwhile, the North Sulawesi Attorney General's Flat in Manado is a three-story building that accommodates 44 type 36 dwellings in the Tingkulu Village, Wanea District, equipped with a number of public facilities.
