PAPUA - The Manokwari Regency Library and Archives Service (Perpusda) has denied that any of its employees seek profit through selling books to individuals and schools.
Head of the Library Division of the Manokwari Library, Wiwik Hariawan, admitted that he had received three reports regarding the sale of books on behalf of the Manokwari Library. Including using his name to offer and sell books.
"Actually, it happened a long time ago, but I had ignored it. But at the end of October, a similar complaint appeared again, so I have to clarify that it is not true and we have never done that", he said in Manokwari, West Papua, quoted from Antara, Wednesday 2 November.
Wiwik expressed his gratitude because from the reports he received there were no victims who suffered material losses.
