MATARAM - West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Police Investigators have completed the file belonging to a suspect in a fraud and embezzlement case with the initials AR.

AR runs the distribution mode for three cows worth IDR 100 million from the National Economic Recovery (PEN) fund through the Rinjani Multipurpose Cooperative (KSU) Sumbawa Branch.

Director General of Police for West Nusa Tenggara, Commissioner Teddy Ristiawan, said that his party had followed up on the matter by transferring files belonging to the suspect to the research prosecutor.

"For the AR case file, we have sent it to the prosecutor for investigation and now we are waiting for P-19 (direction of the research prosecutor)", said Teddy in Mataram, Antara, Thursday, September 15.

In AR's case file, Teddy explained that the investigator had outlined the role in question.

"So, this AR collects people under his guidance to become members of the cooperative with different deposits", he said.

The advantage of becoming a member, he said, is that KSU Rinjani will assist three cows worth IDR 100 million from PEN funds.

However, the sweet promise was only spoken on the lips. Help never came. This is also the basis for 39 members of the KSU Rinjani Sumbawa Branch to report AR to the NTB Police.

As a suspect, AR is suspected of Article 372 of the Criminal Code on Embezzlement and Article 378 of the Criminal Code on Fraud.

From this case, Teddy ensured that his party was still developing the involvement of other people. One of them is related to the flow of money deposited by members of the KSU Rinjani Sumbawa Branch.

"What is clear is that there is an upward deposit. The matter is still a matter for our development", he said.

In fact, Teddy ensured that the investigation of the role of other people in this case also received support from the AR suspect.

"The suspect made a new complaint regarding the role of other people. This is what we are still investigating, whether this case can later be escalated to investigation or not", he said.
