BANJARMASIN - Head of the Provos Bureau of the Propam Division of the National Police Brigadier General Gupuh Setiyono said that every member of the National Police should not be afraid to give advice if there is an order from the leadership that is deemed incorrect.

"The leadership's attention is that all superiors remind members. Likewise, members can provide suggestions and input on any orders," said Brigadier General Gupuh in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 13.

Gupuh led the supervision team from the Profession and Security Division (Propam) at the National Police Headquarters to the South Kalimantan Regional Police and the Regional Police carried out inspections of all personnel.

Examination of urine samples to the firearms of the personnel was also carried out to ensure that there were no violations.

He emphasized that there is no mercy for members of the Police using drugs. Especially to get involved in the circulation network.

Therefore, the Head of Provos Bureau reminded members not to commit the slightest violation, including touching illicit drugs.

While at the South Kalimantan Regional Police, Gupuh also socialized Police Regulation (Perpol) Number 7 of 2022 which mandated a special placement (Patsus) to be applied to members suspected of committing violations.

"Like a detective, special placements can be carried out for 30 days in order to facilitate the investigation," explained the one-star general.
