President Zelensky Confirms Negotiations After Russia Leaves, Medvedev Calls Ukraine's Total Surrender

JAKARTA - Russia's current negotiating position in Ukraine is nothing more than a 'warmup' for the children, because the eventual demand may be the complete surrender of the Kyiv regime, deputy head of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said on his Telegram channel.

He highlighted statements by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about his refusal to enter into dialogue with those who put forward the ultimatum.

"The current ultimatum is a warm-up for the children, a preview of the demands that will be made in the future. He knows them: the complete surrender of the Kyiv regime on Russian terms," ​​Medvedev said, citing TASS, September 13.

Earlier, President Zelensky said in an interview with CNN, negotiations with the Russian Federation would only be possible, after the complete liberation of all Russian-occupied territory of Ukraine.

'No sanctions can be lifted. We can't discuss anything with Russia until the Russians get out of here. Maybe after the war, we can talk about lifting some sanctions, about reparations, payments from their side, diplomacy," Zelensky told CNN, citing MENAFN.

"We can involve the leaders of any country, any international institution in such negotiations, but only after Russia has vacated all of our territory," President Zelensky said.
