Alfamart Defends Employee Who Was Intimidated By A Woman Driving Mercedes Benz: We Have Appointed Hotman Paris

JAKARTA - Alfamart finally took action. They defend their employe who was threatened by the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE) after they caught a buyer leaving with chocolate without being paid.

Through Solihin, Corporate Affairs Director of PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya, Alfamart confirmed that it fully supports the employee. The results of their investigation, the employee has carried out his duties well.

"Confirming that the company fully supports our employees, who based on initial investigations carry out their duties according to procedures," said Solihin via Alfamart's Twitter account, Monday, August 15.

Alfamart also rejects attempts to intimidate their employees.

Based on the latest video seen by VOI editor, the Alfamart employee apologized. He was flanked by a woman who was caught allegedly not paying for the chocolate and a lawyer.

"I am an Alfamart employee, I want to clarify the video that has been spread on social media because there has been a misunderstanding between the two of us that has harmed Mrs. Mariana," said an Alfamart employee.

"And I apologize to Mariana's mother for the video that was spread yesterday. Thank God, today it has been resolved amicably," said the employee.

"Alfamart has appointed Hotman Paris Hutapea's office as a legal representative," said Solihin.
