The Murder Of Women In Serpong Revealed, Traces Of The Perpetrators Are Known Through Devices Sold To Pedestrians

JAKARTA - The suspect in the murder of a woman with the initials SL (35) which occurred in a boarding house in the North Serpong area, South Tangerang, has been arrested. Police said the suspect could be arrested after tracking the whereabouts of the stolen cellphone.

"So the cellphone (the victim, ed) was sold (the suspect, ed) to two people who were designated as intermediaries in this case with the initials J and S. They were successfully secured and then carried out an examination and development", said Head of Public Relations of Metro Jaya Police, Commissioner E. Zulpan, told reporters, Wednesday, June 29.

From the statements of the two suspects, J and S, this is where the police know who the suspect is. Thus, its whereabouts were immediately traced.

Finally, the police arrested AJL at his boarding house in Jelupang Village, North Serpong District, on June 28.

Then, the police immediately matched the fingerprints at the scene with those of AJL. As it turned out, the results were identical.

"Based on the examination, the person concerned also admitted to committing a crime", said Commissioner Zulpan.

Thus, in this case, the suspect is under Article 338 of the Criminal Code and Article 365 of the Criminal Code regarding murder and theft with violence. Meanwhile, J and S were charged with Article 480 of the Criminal Code regarding intermediaries and were threatened with 4 years in prison.

Previously, it was reported that the police arrested the perpetrator AJL (23), the perpetrator of the murder of a woman with the initials SL (35) in her boarding room in the North Serpong area, South Tangerang.

"I was arrested this morning", said South Tangsel Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head, AKP Aldo Primananda

In addition, the motive of the perpetrators for this action was due to economic factors. Because he took the victim's cellphone.

"Economy. But unfortunately sold (mobile phone). We've also got the custodian. Only sold 30 thousand. He said it was a broken cellphone. For the economy, just make food", he said.
