BENGKULU - The Bengkulu Province Health Office (Dinkes) is accelerating the COVID-19 vaccination for the elderly for the second and third doses. The head of the Bengkulu Provincial Health Office, Herwan Antoni, said that the effort was a step to pursue vaccination coverage in his area. The reason is that the first dose of vaccination for the elderly in Bengkulu has only reached 77 percent. The second dose only reached 58 percent and the third dose was only 15 percent.

"Therefore, we ask all district and city Health Offices to pursue vaccination achievements for the elderly. We carry out vaccinations so that all elderly in Bengkulu Province are safe and avoid the spread of COVID-19," said Herwan in Bengkulu, quoted from Antara, Friday, June 3rd.

Herwan added, in an effort to accelerate vaccination for the elderly, his party carried out mass vaccinations and pick-up the ball.
