The Behavior Of A 5th Grader, Spreads The Threat Of A Fake Mass Shooting In Florida When The US Is Still Mourning

JAKARTA - Police in Florida mercilessly arrested a 10-year-old boy. He had just made threats about the mass shooting.

This fifth-grader at Patriot Elementary School in Cape Coral was arrested in Florida Saturday, May 28. He was handcuffed and walked to a police car for making written threats to carry out a mass shooting.

Judging from Sheriff Carmine Marcelo's Facebook, this boy was seen walking out of an office. Dragged into the car by armed police.

The boy's face did not look frightened. He walked into the car quietly.

"This student's behavior is disgusting, especially after the recent tragedy in Uvalde, Texas," Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno said in a statement.

"Making sure our children are safe is paramount," he continued.

The School Threat Enforcement Team was alerted to a worrying message. The Youth Service Criminal Investigation Division immediately handled this case, because the perpetrator was still a young child.

Marceno noted that officers were quickly investigating the threat of a mass shooting.

“We will have law and order in our school! My team didn't hesitate for a second… NOT A ONE SECOND, to investigate this threat,” he said.

Detectives interview the boy.

“Now is not the time to act like a little brat. It's not funny," Marcelo said.

"This kid made a fake threat, and now he's experiencing real consequences."
