Looking For Grass For Animal Feed, 67-Year-Old Man Dies After Vomiting And Chest Pain

PURWOREJO - A farmer named Sarman (67) was found dead in a resident's yard in Rejowinangun Village, Kemiri sub-district, Purworejo district, Central Java. The man who worked as a farmer every day was thought to have died while looking for grass to feed his livestock.

According to the testimony of a witness named Somiran (74), at around 10.30 western Indonesia time, the victim had asked for help to massage his body because he felt pain in his chest and shortness of breath.

However, because he did not bring oil, Somiran took the time to go home to get eucalyptus oil. While waiting, Somiran asked Nasrodin (69) to accompany the victim while massaging the victim's body.

In short, after Sarman was massaged, he said goodbye because his body was feeling good. But not long after, still at the same location, Sarman vomited. Sarman fell and was found dead.

Based on information from the family, Sarman had previously complained of illness to his wife.

Kemiri Police Chief Commissioner Adjutant Miswanto confirmed the incident and said that there were no signs of violence on the victim's body.

"For the results of the medical examination by the Kemiri Health Center medical officer, there were no signs of violence on the victim's body. There was no criminal element in the incident. The family or heirs can accept it as a disaster and refuse an autopsy." Miswanto explained.
