KALSEL - The Hulu Sungai Tengah Police continues to investigate the cause of death of the young woman R Safitri (20) whose body was found in a hut in Haliau Village, Batu Benawa District, South Kalimantan (South Kalimantan).

"The discovery of the woman's body occurred on Sunday (March 3) before breaking the fast," said the Head of the Hulu Police ST AKBP Sigit Hariyadi accompanied by the Head of Public Relations AKP Soebagio in Barabai Monday, March 4, reported Antara.

The girl's body was found by residents lying in a hut in the middle of the forest in the Hangkingkin area, Haliau Village, Batu Benawa District, or about 30 meters from the local road and far from residential areas.

He added that the identity of the victim was known, namely a resident of Patarikan, Benjang District, North Hulu Sungai Regency, who had been reported by his family as a missing person to the police because he had not returned home since Saturday 2 April.
