JAKARTA - The East Jakarta City Government has curbed illegal billboards on Raya Pemuda Street, Pemuda Street, and Sunan Giri Street, Pulogadung District, Tuesday, March 29, evening.

The control of billboards is carried out by joint officers from the Bina Marga Sub-dept., Environment Sub-dept., Citata Sub-dept., Civil Service Police Unit, East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-Department.

Furthermore, members of the Jakarta Permanent Garrison I, Regional Tax Collection Service Unit, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta One-Stop Service Unit, East Jakarta Health Sub-dept.

Head of the Ops Section of the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman, said that in this control, joint officers dismantled illegal billboards.

"The Bina Marga Department has deployed cranes for control. We from the fire department have prepared billboard material cutting tools", said Gatot in his statement, Wednesday, March 30.

By using a cutter slider and hooligan tool, the frame of illegal billboards is cut into small pieces to facilitate evacuation.

After being cut into small pieces by the ranks of the Gulkarmat Sub-dept., the illegal billboard materials were evacuated to four trucks belonging to the East Jakarta Environmental Sub-dept.

"For those on Pemuda Street, the control starts at 22.00 WIB, ends at 23.04 WIB. On Sunan Giri Street we start activities at 23.09 WIB, finish on Wednesday at 01.18 WIB", he said.

In addition to controlling illegal billboards, Gatot said that his party also often evacuates in cases of billboards, billboards, and canopy collapses because they have evacuation equipment.
