PURWOREJO - The government's promise to immediately pay compensation for land acquisition for the national strategic project of the Bener Dam has been realized.

Located in the courtyard of the PT Pembangunan Perumahan (PT PP) resort office in Karangsari Village, a procession of handing over money has been carried out for the payment of 38 plots of land belonging to 31 residents organized by the National Land Agency (BPN) Purworejo District.

Head of BPN Purworejo, Andri Kristanto hopes that residents who receive reimbursement of fees can make the best use of the funds received.

According to him, the residents who received the replacement fee were because all stages of land release were declared complete.

"This compensation payment is the last stage in land acquisition. Please use it as well as possible. Hopefully, there will be no nominal errors listed in the savings book with the value that has been given in a letter during the deliberation," said Andri Kristanto in a written statement, Tuesday, March 22.

Meanwhile, the Bener sub-district head, Agus Widiyanto, said that the 31 residents who received payments were owners of 38 plots of land in 5 villages, including 10 plots of Nglaris Village, 1 plot of Karangsari, 18 plots of Guntur, 1 plot of Redin and 7 plots of Kemiri.

Agus advised the residents that the money that had been received should be used as well as possible and be careful of people who took advantage of the compensation money.

"Please use the compensation money as well as possible for family needs, be careful of those who take advantage of the compensation money, keep the compensation money at home as necessary," Agus ordered.

Of the 38 invitations, compensation payments for 26 fields have been realized, 12 fields are still pending (return). Residents who own 12 fields from the residents of Kalipancer Hamlet, Guntur Village did not attend and asked for special payments for Kalipancer to be made at the same time.
