After checking Lombok International Airport, the Minister of Transportation said that he had coordinated with aviation stakeholders, both airport managers, and airlines, to prepare "go show" tickets or purchase tickets directly on the day of departure.

"Indeed, there are already large-bodied Boeing 777 aircraft from Garuda, but that is not enough. For that, we prepared to go show tickets for the Lombok-Bali route. Because in Mandalika there are limited hotels, so viewers who want to stay in Bali can take advantage of the go show tickets", he said.

The Minister of Transportation said that from Friday, March 18, until Sunday, March 20 this morning, there has been an increase in the number of passengers coming to Mandalika.

"Alhamdulillah, until today the transportation connectivity service has been running smoothly", said the Minister of Transportation.

Based on data from the Directorate General of Air Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation, to anticipate the soaring number of passengers to and from Mandalika, on Sunday 20 March, a total of 59 additional flights have been prepared consisting of 38 extra flights, 14 charter flights, and 7 positioning flights, with a total of 9,392. chair.

As well as, for positioning flights, 11 aircraft were prepared to be on standby for three days of MotoGP, with details namely: Cengkareng-Lombok six flights, Denpasar-Lombok three flights, and Surabaya-Lombok two flights.

In addition to air transportation, the Ministry of Transportation has also prepared sea transportation facilities, both via passenger ships and ro-ro ships to several areas such as Bali, Surabaya, and surrounding areas.
