Woman Who Died In A Rice Field Area Was Actually Killed By Her Boyfriend

MEDAN - The discovery of the body of a woman named Imelda (20) in a rice field area of Mesjid Hamlet, Aras Kabu Village, Beringin District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, had shocked residents.

The Deli Serdang Police immediately investigated the findings of this corpse. Not long after, the police uncovered the case of the death of Imelda (20). From the results of the investigation, it turns out that Imelda was killed by her boyfriend with the initials MSB (16).

Deli Serdang Police Chief Kombes Irsan Sinuhaji said the incident began on Wednesday, February 2, in the afternoon. At that time, the perpetrator picked up the victim at her house in Pantai Labu District.

"The perpetrator picked up the victim near her house to take her for a walk. During the trip there was an argument between the victim and the perpetrator", said Kombes Irsan, Monday, February 7.

Kombes Irsan explained that the argument between the two was triggered because the perpetrators were jealous. The suspect suspected the victim was having an affair with another man.

"There was a fight along the way. Then they headed to the area where the murder took place", he said.

Arriving at the location, the two agreed to have sex even though they were in a fight.

"Shortly after intercourse, after wearing full clothes. Due to the location near a rice field, suddenly the perpetrator pushed the victim so that the victim fell into a puddle of water", he explained.

After the victim fell, the perpetrator also entered the rice field area and his hands then pushed the victim to the bottom of the water for about 5 minutes. At that time the victim screamed and fought back by clawing and biting the perpetrator. But unfortunately, her life could not be saved.

"The perpetrator then went up to the edge of the pool to make sure the victim did not move again. Then the perpetrator returned home to carry out his activities as usual. As long as the police were looking for the perpetrator, the perpetrator also still had time to go to school as usual", added Kombes Irsan.

The perpetrator was arrested while playing with his friend. From the interrogation, the perpetrator also admitted his actions. Then it is proven by the scratch marks and bites of the victim on the hands of the perpetrator

From his testimony, he also admitted that he had only been in love with the victim for a month. The two, he said, met through Facebook.

Against the perpetrators, Kombes Irsan said he would be charged with Article 340, subsidiary to Article 338 of the Criminal Code.

"Threats of a death penalty or life imprisonment. We are also from the Deli Serdang Police, because this is still a minor, he is only 16 years old, we are still coordinating with the Batangas (Penitentiary) so that the implementation and handling are appropriate", he said.
