Wuling Cloud EV Successfully Completes Jakarta-Bali 1.357 Km Travel In PLN Mobile EVenture Event

JAKARTA - The automotive brand from China, Wuling Motors, has again proven its commitment to supporting the era of electric vehicles in Indonesia. Through its participation in the PLN Mobile EVenture event entitled "Vaccinary Explore with Electric Vehicles", Wuling puts forward the advantage of its electric car while supporting charging infrastructure along the Jakarta-Bali route.

The event aims to introduce the benefits of electric vehicles while ensuring the readiness of charging infrastructure to support the Christmas and New Year holidays. On this 1,357 kilometers of travel, three Wuling electric cars participated, one of which was the Wuling Cloud EV, an electric car that offers convenience, advanced features, and extraordinary efficiency.

Sales Operations Director of Wuling Motors Kharismamawan Awangga, expressed his appreciation for the PLN Mobile EVenture event, which not only promotes driving experience, but also provides education to the public about the ease of using this environmentally friendly vehicle.

" Wuling's participation in this event is one of Wuling's support for accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles in Indonesia. We are proud to be able to contribute to this activity with the Cloud EV, which we believe is able to answer the public's need for environmentally friendly vehicles for long trips," he said in an official statement received, Tuesday, December 10.

Wuling Cloud EV is a medium hatchback launched in May 2024, and is the third model. This electric car offers a distance of 460 km in full charging, which offers peace of mind to users. This one car is also equipped with a variety of modern features, such as a dvanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) that guarantees optimal safety with features such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Safe Distance Warning (SDW), and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) that help drivers stay focused during travel.

Returning to the PLN Mobile EVenture event, the journey starts from the starting point of the Head Office of PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) on Jl. Trunojoyo, South Jakarta, with the first dismissal at UP3 PLN Cikokol, Tangerang.

The group then continued their journey to PLN UP3 Bandung, PLN UID Central Java and DIY, PLN UP3 South Surabaya. After passing through the Main Rest Area of Raya in Situbondo, the trip continued to the Santika Banyuwangi Hotel for final charging before finally arriving at the finish line that Living World Denpasar, Bali.

In this activity covering a total distance of approximately 1,357 kilometers, the Cloud EV managed to complete the journey using normal driving mode. This proves the efficiency and reliability of the Cloud EV in supporting long-distance travel. Participation in this activity is part of a joint campaign to promote environmental sustainability and a transition to cleaner energy.
