Anies-Muhaimin, Prabowo-Gibran And Ganjar-Mahfud Will Sign The Integrity Pact For Peaceful Elections
JAKARTA - Member of the General Election Commission (KPU) Idham Holik said the three pairs of presidential candidates (candidates) and vice presidential candidates (cawapres) will sign an integrity pact as a commitment to realizing a peaceful 2024 General Election (Pemilu).
"Yes, it is certain (signing the integrity pact)," said Idham, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, November 27.
Idham explained that in the "Declaration of the 2024 Peaceful Election", KPU Chairman Hasyim Asy'ari would convey a message to the election participants to jointly maintain the conduciveness and security of the 2024 General Election.
"If it is (the message of peaceful, safe, and conducive elections) later will be conveyed by our chairman (KPU Chairman Hasyim Asy'ari) in his speech," said Idham.
This declaration, continued Idham, in addition to being attended by three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates, will also be attended by general chairmen of political parties participating in the 2024 General Election as well as representatives of candidates for members of the Regional Representative Council.
"We invite political party leaders, vice presidential candidates, representatives of DPD members," said Idham.

The KPU changed the location of the Declaration of Peaceful Elections, which was originally held at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Jakarta, Monday, (27/11) to the KPU office,
"It's not at GBK, right? So it seems that it's in front of the KPU office because of several considerations. Not tomorrow, (so) on the 27th, the difference is only at the location and according to our capacity," said KPU member Afifuddin.
The KPU appointed three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates to participate in the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections (Pilpres).
The pair Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD number 3.
The KPU has also set a campaign period from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024. Then, the voting schedule on February 14, 2024.
