Jambi Police Chief Will Monitor Personnel Netrality Through Cyber Team
JAKARTA - Jambi Police Chief Inspector General Rusdi Hartono ensured that if there were Police personnel in his area who were not neutral during the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) process, he would not hesitate to take firm action. He will monitor his members to social media (medsos).
"When there are members who are deemed non-neutral, I please give proof of that neutrality and we will take corrective action for further improvements," said Inspector General Rusdi Hartono, ANTARA, Sunday, November 26.
Even so, Rusdi guarantees that Jambi Police personnel and ranks can maintain neutrality during the election.
Rusdi said this was in accordance with the instructions conveyed by the National Police Chief that all Polri personnel should remain neutral in accordance with the mandate of the law which explains that the police must be neutral and do not follow practical political activities.
He believes that if members of the National Police participate in politics and are not neutral, it will make the atmosphere cloudy and not conducive.
