Ahead Of Production Version Launch, Suzuki EVX Caught Camera Being Tested In India
JAKARTA - Launched in early 2023, the Suzuki EVX will be the first electric vehicle (EV) from Suzuki. This car is also the result of collaboration with Toyota and will be produced starting in 2025.
Although it has less than two years left to market its first EV, Suzuki is currently developing the electric vehicle. This is evidenced from several times that the car was tested in the highway area.
Reporting from RushLane, Jum'at, November 24, the SUV was again seen on the highway, this time in India. Suzuki eVX was caught on camera doing charging in the country decorated with black camouflage livery. Although covered by a cloak disguised, the design or shape of the vehicle can be clearly visible.
This SUV has a distinctive design with a standout spatbor, a sturdy front endper, a bright engine hood, and a wide rear light. The front uses a goal that is familiar with other Suzuki models such as Grand Vitara and XL7. While the side looks sturdy with the addition of a small back wing hanging over the rear glass.
It is known that Suzuki eVX has a minimalist interior design that adapts to consumer tastes. Instead of using physical buttons, eVX will have capacitive touch control. Users can access it on the touch screen, dashboard, and steering wheel.
Just like other products, of course Suzuki wants to give the best performance to consumers. For the concept version, eVX has a battery with a capacity of 60 kWh with a range of 550 km. It is likely that the production version has a battery capacity of up to 48 kWh and reaches a range of up to 400 km.
Suzuki eVX will be produced at a company-owned factory in Gujarat, India. Chances are, this car will be launched in the price range of 1.8 million rupees to 2.2 million rupees (equivalent to IDR 335.7 million to IDR 410.3 million) and Maruti Suzuki will be the exporter of the vehicle, one of which is European territory.
