Welcomed By King Charles, BLACKPINK Receives Title From The British Empire
JAKARTA - The four BLACKPINK members received an award from the United Kingdom on Tuesday, November 21. They obtained a Most Excellent Order by King Charles III for their participation in the upcoming COP26 Summit in Glasgow.
The moment was given at a joint banquet which was also attended by South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and his wife, Kim Keon Hee. The two took pictures with King Charles and the four BLACKPINK members: Lisa, Jennie, Rosé and Jisoo.

The four BLACKPINK members looked elegant in different colors in their presence in England. Previously, they also held a BORN PINK concert in England and successfully sold all their tickets.
During the banquet, King Charles also mentioned the four K-pop idols and their role in environmental sustainability.

The royal orchestra team also played the song DDU-DU-DU from BLACKPINK to welcome them as guests. The iconic intro of the song is played with a Dimogen that guides the orchestra.
